* February 9th, 2006, 2.0.0 has been released as stable along with stable versions of the ibase, mysql, mysqli, pgsql and ibase drivers. 
* December 28th, 2005, 2.0.0RC1 was released a few days ago
* October 17th 2005 - Forgot to mention that there is an [http://www.oracle.com/technology/pub/articles/deployphp/schlitt_deployphp.html article] on MDB2 on OTN
* April 29th 2005 - MDB2 and MDB2_Schema releases done.
* March 6th 2005 - Its done

* March 4th 2005 - Feeling bad :-(
 * I feel really bad because I promised people another beta last month and I still havent delivered.
 * However today I finally worked on MDB2 a bit again. There are still a few things I want to port from DB (mainly connection related) and mabye a few bug reports to look at. However this weekend I will make a new release .. no matter what. 
* Jan 13th 2005 - moving towards the next release - these issues are left
 * the oci8 driver now passes all but the NULL LOB test which the fine people at oracle are currently investigating
 * I have downloaded frontbase and mssql and I am not waiting for Frank Kromann to help me set things up so that I can hopefully soon also test these drivers and fix up any remaining issues
* Jan 9th 2005 - add mysqli driver and fixed oci8 driver
 * the mysqli driver passes all tests but doesnt use native prepare support yet
 * the oci8 driver now uses native bind for all types (including LOB)
